Hi, I'm Anna
Project manager. Parent. An expat living in Berlin, Germany.
A few years ago, I relocated here with my family. What began as a temporary contract gradually blossomed into a new chapter of life overseas.
How It Started
Moving to Germany wasn't part of our long-range plan. Like many expat journeys, it began as a job opportunity and quickly grew into something much larger.
The opening months were demanding — unfamiliar systems, new routines, higher expectations. Everyday tasks felt more complicated than they should.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, uncertainty, and a lot of learning by doing. But slowly, routines formed. We discovered places that worked for us, met other families, and started building something that felt stable.
Why I Built Ame Ceryfo Zubmob
Most information online was either corporate-level relocation advice or surface-level tourism material. What was missing was honest, day-to-day family perspective.
This site exists to close that gap — practical guidance based on real life in Germany.
What This Site Covers (And Does Not)
This site IS:
- Practical insights from living in Germany
- Centered on family life and daily realities
- Updated whenever a real change occurs
This site ISN'T:
- Not a tourism authority reference
- Paid-backed review platform
- A generic travel diary
Looking Forward
Our stay in Germany goes on, and so does the learning journey. As long as the information remains helpful, I will continue recording what we learn.

Anna
